How it All Started...
My inspiration for Leah Renee Art was birthed from a challenging time in my journey where I was faced with complex grief and loss amongst a host of responsibilities and aspirations. During my time of healing, I leaned into my faith in God, art making, dancing and the support of a healthy community. With lots of reflection, I thought about how my art and faith practice impacted my life. This combination of support helped me to stay present and continue believing in myself and my future. With this life-lived framework, I am confident it can bring hope, clarity, and a sense of peace for people who share similar values and beliefs.
My goal is to create spaces where you can connect with like minded individuals, feel welcomed and experience art in a unique way that nourishes your mind, body and soul.
In my prior experience of facilitating traditional paint parties, I always envisioned more than the basics. At Leah Renee Art, your art experience incorporates scripture, mindfulness, creative self-expression, dance and other meaningful activities.
With my background in Psychology and Art Therapy and Counseling I am ready to serve and support you and your team in an unforgettable and transformative way.
The journey of self discovery is beautiful. To do it with art and God can be enlightening. It is my prayer that you see yourself the way God sees you.
Peace,
Leah Renee
My Art Is Reflective...
My artwork is a reflection of my lived experiences and is heavily influenced by grief, major life transitions, womanhood, and resilience. I use bold colors and lines to create pieces that capture the raw emotion of my journey. My goal is to help others find solace and strength in their own stories of healing and growth. I’m dedicated to creating art that speaks to the heart, and I'm passionate about helping others find their own voice and source of courage. When you look at my work, I want you to feel empowered to express yourself unapologetically and to embrace the beauty of vulnerability.
